Around 10:30 p.m. on May 11, Nasir Grant was taken into custody by federal agents on the 2800 block on West Dauphin Street in Strawberry Mansion, Marshals said.

Police have said that Grant, 24, and Ameen Hurst, 18, escaped from the Philadelphia Industrial Correctional Center on State Road sometime on Sunday, May 7.

The two appeared to have cut a hole in a fence in the recreation yard before escaping, Daily Voice reported.

Hurst remains at large, Marshals said.

Hurst has been tied to homicides dating back to 2020 while Grant was being held on drug and weapons charges since last September.

Also arrested in connection with the jailbreak on Thursday was 21-year-old Xianni Stalling, who faces criminal conspiracy charges for allegedly aiding the inmates in their escape.
